How rural is the location, and how far is the nearest large town?

We are situated in a mountain region, which is rural and quiet & very scenic. We are at an altitude of 400m (1320ft). So the air is always clean and fresh. We are equal distance between two large towns, Castres & Mazamet. They are both under 20 minutes drive from here. Both towns have lots to see and have markets a few days a week, where you can buy fresh local produce from the region. They have plenty of great restaurants to eat out at very affordable prices.

Is it possible to rent all of the houses to accommodate a large group or extended family group?

Absolutely! Each house is self contained and is perfect for extended family groups, or large groups of friends.
